Behind the label Reality Studio is the designer Svenja Specht. She studied
fashion and product design and worked for several years in the fields of
fashion, graphic, costume and product design before she started her own
label in 2005 in Berlin. Her interest in other cultures and languages
brought her for three years to Beijing, China and for two years to Paris.
These working stays and more travels inspire her and build the starting
point to her experimental designs. The collections are produced in Germany
and are distributed in Japan, China, USA and Europe. Reality Studio has
collaborated on projects with artists such as Jen Ray and Michael Kalki and
participated at a project of Rirkrit Tiravanija in Berlin. Since 2010
Reality Studio collaborates with Onitsuka Tiger /Asics on limited edition
sneaker designs of which the first will come to selected stores in January
2011- others will follow in July and December 2011.
